You're angry
Understatement
Livid
Shaking with fury
I'm speechless
You lecture
Enounciate
Articulate
"I gave you
Everything"
You say
I disappointed you
I don't want
To meet your eyes
"I judged you wrong"
I stand straighter
I look up
And bite my lip
I'm ready
To be judged again
Your eyes
Pierce my heart
X-ray my soul
Dissect me
Your eyes darken
Cold and hating
The verdict approaches
I'm dying inside
"You are not the person
I thought you were."
Guilty
My execution awaits

Never Go Away
I don’t know if you ever think about me and if you cry like I do when I feel the void where a father is supposed to be. I wonder if you really meant to start over when I heard from you in June, just before Father’s Day. All those wondrous promises and I never heard from you in the six months after. Don’t you miss your son? Am I still your son in your eyes or do we just happen to share DNA? I know I don’t have a father, I only had a father up until I was 8 years old, I think. I don’t remember. I don’t recall when our paths divided, you with a woman you apparently chose over me, me growing up facing struggles

As Night lovingly embraced Sky, her lover
And brought him down to her bosoms
Man sheltered themselves and fell still;
Not even their breathing was heard
While Stars danced above, lustful
Seducing before the lone, aroused Moon
Without Sun acknowledging their betrayal
Without Horizon witnessing their caresses
Then what story did mankind hold?
Too afraid to step into Darkness' domain
Too frail to bear the cold Frostbite;
Just hiding under the shade of blankets, shivering
That no soul under the Heaven said a word
That no tavern sang songs of the old
For there be only Silence, her and only ex

Tree Leaves
Tree Leaves
I hope that you’re happy,
I hope I am too.
See, we were under a shadow.
It was lovely, true,
But when one day I looked up,
It was then that I knew
I couldn’t stay under tree leaves,
I had to see the sky so blue.
See, under that calm tree,
I couldn’t laugh like I used to.
I forgot how to be me,
And that’s something I couldn’t do.
I couldn’t look at you, closed my eyes
When I said adieu.
But I hope that you’ll smile
And under the sky that I will too.
And for all of our tree leaves,
I’ll hold those mem’ries, and thank you.

Before anyone says anything, I left out full stops and commas on purpose. Punctuation makes an impact on how you perceive things, and I want to leave this up to you. Some places could be interpreted differently if I had put punctuation in. This poem has a dual meaning, and I'd be gratified if you could give imput on which one you saw first. Just as a curiousity thing.

What I first pictured in my head was my mother yelling at me. What I pictured second was a significant other upset with me. A lovely poem
